The Special Olympics

This year, MASC has chosen to partner with Special Olympics for the state community service project. Currently there are over 3 million special Olympians in over 150 countries worldwide. MASC is honored to hold this partnership—Special Olympics teaches joy, honor, encouragement, and perseverance through sport’s and friendly competition.  Throughout the year MASC will be joining Special Olympics at events, and with community service opportunities.

Walk For Hunger

The Walk for Hunger is a 20-mile walk that wends it way through Boston and neighboring cities to raise awareness for hunger. The Walk for Hunger is sponsored by Project Bread which is dedicated to ending hunger in the commonwealth of Massachusetts.

MASC supports this cause and encourages student councils around the state to get their schools involved.
