The NASC National Conference offers opportunities to: meet and network with other leaders from across the U.S. and around the world; obtain new ideas from informative speakers and workshops, and ascertain innovative ideas about service learning.
This year, the National Conference will be held at Century High School in Hillsboro, Oregon (Portland area) on June 24-26, 2016! The Massachusetts delegation will depart for Portland on or about June 22, 2016. Registration information can be found in the guidebook.
Participants will come away with renewed enthusiasm for student council involvement at their schools, new projects and ideas to implement, thereby developing stronger leadership skills and friendships.
The National Association of Student Councils (NASC) is a program of the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP). NASC partners with its member schools to cultivate and strengthen student leaders, and broaden and empower student voice. NASC believes that student councils should be the voice of the student body and be involved in decisions affecting school and community initiatives.
The mission of NASC is networking for leadership, activities for ALL students, student voice and civic engagement, community service, and service learning. NASC provides the resources, training and national recognition to take your student council to a higher level.
